David Perozzi is an award-winning journalist with 25 years of media experience. He most recently was a senior producer at CNN where he delivered numerous long form programming including crime shows, a Billy Joel special with Fareed Zakaria and a two-hour Kobe Bryant documentary. Prior to joining CNN, David was an executive producer at Lincoln Square Productions  where he show-ran 20/20 on ID Presents Homicide. He also executive produced Barbara Walters Presents American Scandals and a 10-part archival news series As We Watched.  He has senior produced for Robin Roberts and other ABC News talent.  

While at ABC News, David produced hundreds of breaking news, crime, consumer and high-profile entertainment stories. His celebrity reporting includes exclusive interviews with Madonna, Amy Grant, The Dixie Chicks, Carly Simon, Tony Bennett, Celine Dion, R. Kelly and Russell Crowe too name a few.  

He developed a CNBC sponsored series called, Powering the Planet, where he managed a team of producers reporting on alternative power, fuels and green technologies. David was also a senior producer for Anderson Cooper’s daytime talk show Anderson Live.  

He also launched a new music news program for Madison Square Garden, called Fuse News where he was a supervising producer. Fuse News was seen in over 64 million homes. David has worked as a media consultant for Dru Hammer, Signal Relief, Pace Public Relations, News Nation, Dr. Phil McGraw, and The Lincoln Project to name a few.

David has earned two Emmy Awards and five Cine-Golden Eagle Awards  He has earned the coveted Gracie Allen Award and an American Legion Heart of America Award.  David earned a Masters of Science degree in Journalism from Columbia University. With his hard work-ethic, enthusiasm and endless curiosity, David has emerged as one of the leading media executives in the business.
